DAY ONE, 22JUN
we taking jetstar to bangkok, n the tix price is ard S$195, to & fro, quite ok. HAHA!
our flight is 7.15AM, reached airport at ard 5am, to check in. SUPER EARLY!!!
after checking in, we went to have breakfast at yakun.
while waiting for the skytrain,
then light breakfast at yakun.
aftter breakfast back to T1 and headed to our plane!
after ard 2-3 hrs, finally reached BANGKOK!! haha! it was ard 9plus (spore is 10plus)
aft check out, take our luggage n everything, we took a cab to our hotel
OH!! the aiport ppl damage the handles of my luggage, my luggage became handleless!
SAD!
anyway aft ard 45mins cab ride, we finally reach our accomodation.
KRIT THAI MANSION!
its really quite good.
GOOD SERVICE, friendly staff who help us moved our luggages, tune our tv, understand english.
CHEAP, as we are staying for 7 nights, its cheaper. ard S$15 per night per pax. there is fridge, bathtub, tv, hairdryer provided!
CONVENIENT,with a 24hr cafe, the BTS train station is juz outside the hotel, a shopping mall is juz opp us, 7/11 nearby.

I will recommend ppl to go there too! HAHA!

aft packing our things n etc, we decided to go to the nearby mall to have lunch n walk ard.

as we stepped in, every single person have to go thru some security check.
very strict, think is the safety measure aft the protest.
anyway the very first thing we did was to find a supermarket in there, to get our water!
then was to lunch. had lunch at the nearby thai resturant, the food was juz ok only. HAHA!

our first meal at BKK! hehe!
aft lunch, we walk ard MBK, but nothing could really catch our attention, then we decided to go to the platinum fashion mall by walking. HAHA!
as we walked, we walk thru the SIAM area, which is like singapore's orchard rd.
the traffic system is very very diff frm ours. hard to explain how diff but juz diff. HAHA!

took this outside the SIAM OCEAN WORLD.
wanted to go in there initially, but the admission tix was really ex, is ard 850baht (ard $40).
so in the end we never get in. HAHA!
as we walked n walked, we cant seem to find the direction to platinum, in the end we decided to take a train there.

their train look quite similar to ours.
aft alight the train, n asked for direction, we started walking there.
as we walked, we went pass the CENTRAL WORLD.
this was the shopping mall that was burn down due to the protest.
can see the interior of the mall, black everywhere, damages were huge!
see how heavy is the traffic!
the weather was very hot, walk under the sun, is juz too too too hot.
finally we arrived the PLATINUM FASHION MALL.
it sells many many many stuff. GOOD DEALS!
i will recommend this place too!! HAHA!

he say cannot take photo in the mall, but i dun understand y cant.
anyway we started our shopping. shop n shop only.
shop till we r tired, n we went to the food court at the top.
we need this card to purchase the food & drinks there.
the first food we tried there, the WANTON MEE costing only 50baht (ard S$2+) but the portion is quite small.
eng with his takoyaki. costing 50baht too for 6.
then aft filling ourselves up, we had more shoppings!
we shop till their shops closed. by 7pm, many of the shops closed. then we headed to the food court again to have our dinner there.
then was walking back to the train station. but halfway thru, the rain got super heavy,
its really pouring down! we stuck in the middle of some roadside stall, lucky there is shelter there.
then we took cab back to our hotel.
got real wet, n there was flood on the road outside our hotel. woosh!
dry ourselves, n we starting putting out the stuff we bought.
it was only day one, n we bought super lots of stuff!

becoz of the rain, we could only go to our nearby 7/11 to buy stuff n had cup noodle in our room! HAHA!
that day was really a very very long day but was really really fun!
HAHA!
