Went for a cameron trip with family.
Took a night coach there. Journey time is around 9 hours.
The bus took off at 10.30pm on sun, and we reached there around 7am.
Had a light breakfast before we checked in to our apartment room.
I totally like the idea of staying in an apartment room.
There are 3 bedrooms with a living room and a balcony. (if only there is a kitchen, it will be perfect)
OH! I thought the weather was not very cold, perhaps just like air-con temperature, so i just bought a cardigan over. But it turned out to be rather cold coz our hotel is higher up in the mountain. -.-
Anyway we rested for quite some time before we started our touring.
For additional RM25 each adult, we had the leisure tour package.
And this includes:
1) House of potted plants
I cant rmb that i went to such a place during this trip.
2) Market Square
Seriously, there are nothing much there. Every stalls sell the same things.
3) Strawberry Centre
You can just see some tiny strawberries there, and nothing else.
4) Honey Bee Centre
This is abit more interesting than the rest. Free admission and u really get to see bees around and one even crawled on my dad's head! haha!
5) Sam Poh Temple
And we shopped a bit (really a teeny bit) outside the temple.
6) Rose Centre
Got few different colours of roses around and some other plant.
Not a very amazing place actually.
After this half-day tour, had steamboat for dinner. Oh and their veggies are really good! HAHA!
After dinner, we had nothing to do, and thus the rest of the night was spent in the room, doing nothing. HAHA!
So, I had no choice but to sleep early. HAHA!
Morning woke up for breakfast buffet. And the buffet was not bad! haha! After breakfast, we got nothing to do again, so we went to rest in our room before we went for lunch. This trip is really just eating, sleeping and resting. HAHAHA!
After lunch, we went for another paid tour.
Agro Delight Tour, RM65 per adult.
Package includes:
1) Exotic Cactus Farm
They got really scary and special cactus shapes.
2) Strawberry Farm ( includes self-picking activity)
Picked a box of strawberries. Heard that strawberries at cameron are sweet, but to me all of them are sour, if not bitter. Even my sisters said they are sweet, so i guess its my problem.Strawberries are not my things.
3) Flower Nursery
Got to see different colours de chrysanthemum flowers.
For the rest of the places, i forgot which photos are for which, so I just posted it as a chunk.
4) Water-cress Farm
5) Open terrace of conventional farming
6) Organic Farming
7) Lettuce Delight
After the tour, had a steamboat dinner (again), and back to room doing nothing again.
Slept early again, then next day we took the 9 hours journey again back to singapore.
Think i will unlikely to go back there again unless I want to get away from people and things. HAHA!
But their weather is really good, so cooling! haha!
