Finally, I'm going to update on my korea - seoul trip.
I took the SQ night flight to Seoul and it was good!! My second time with SQ and I doubt there will be a next time.
Anyway present to you, my travel mates...
Anyway as we reached seoul, the first thing that got to us was 'ITS SO SO SO COLD!!'
The wind was like blowing hard on us and we were not well prepared.
Quickly, we found our way to the bus stop and boarded the bus without waiting too long.
Sat on the bus for around 45 minutes and we reached GURO where our accommodation is.
Oh, I have to compliment this place we stayed.
Its called DAELIM RESIDENCE. Their services are really good.
Upon my booking confirmation, the owner sent me an email on the directions to their place. It is really sweet of them.
Although the location is quite off from seoul city, it is still consider convenient with a subway station not far away and a mall nearby. *Thumbs up*
Our first stop at Seoul was to hongdae, the trickeye museum. It is an interesting place.

If not for the crowd, we will have taken more photos and I will probably enjoy more!
The next day we went LOTTE WORLD, the indoor and outdoor amusement park.
Seriously, the queue was like super super long, and there was 2 such queues. But it was rather fast.
After Lotte world was to COEX MALL and GANGNAM AREA.
A tiny bit of shopping before we headed down to HANGANG RIVER.
But we were too late, so settle down at one street stall and warmed ourselves there.
The lady owner is very very nice. She put all her heater/warmer near us, seeing that we came from outside.
Next day was to DONGDAEMUN and MYEONGDONG for shopping. But apparently, due to New Year, many many shops were not opened, so we headed there another day. Then we went to NAMSAN TOWER.
Don't know to say we were lucky or unlucky. As we reached the tower, it started snowing heavily. YES, SNOWING heavily and the weather was like freezing cold. As we were told that we were unlikely to see anything from the tower so we headed to the teddy bear museum first.
As we came out of the museum, the snow seem to be smaller, so we headed up to the tower. But due to the snow, we still could not see the pretty scenery clearly. It was quite a waste though.
The next day was palace day.
We went to Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung. Then to INSADONG.
Due to the super cold weather, we were unable to see much as all the visiting are outdoors. And also, as its winter, many many things are covered with snow and the trees are naked. I suppose it will be prettier with the trees beautifully dressed in colored leaves.
Another regret.
It was so cold to stay outside for long. And whenever we were outside, we wrapped ourselves up. HEHE
The next day was to PETITE FRANCE and NAMI ISLAND.
Journey there was very long. Think we took almost 2 hours just to go there and another 2 hours back.
And that day was the coldest out of all the days we were in seoul.
Anyway Petite France was a popular place where dramas were filmed there and running man was filmed there too.
Then headed to Nami Island where winter sonata was filmed there.
The next day was to take a river cruise at HANGANG RIVER.
It's a really pretty place.
Anyway while waiting for the cruise we started cam-whoring!
Time past faster as we are playing! haha!
While on cruise ..
The remaining time and days were shopping and oh we went to JIMJIBANG, the sauna room.
It was a fresh new experience. Inside we are suppose to be naked. So shall not talk any thing in details! hehe!
Overall it was rather fun, though we had missed out some of the things, places and food. If the weather is better, i think i will enjoy more. One lesson learnt, never to go there during winter. It was way too cold!
I WANT TO GO THERE AGAIN!!! HOPE I CAN GO THERE ANOTHER SOON! =P
